　　一、 要求

　　《泛读》是英语教育专业的一门重要课程，该课程要求学员通过大量的阅读实践，掌握基本的阅读技巧（skimming，scanning以及根据上下文判断词义的能力），培养语感，提高理解能力和阅读速度，培养细致观察语言的能力和分析、归纳、假设、判断、推理论证等逻辑思维能力，扩大词汇量，进一步拓宽背景知识，即所学语言国家的政治、经济、教育、哲学、历史、地理以及风土人情等方面的知识。

　　二、考试内容

　　本课程考试分两次进行，所选篇目的重点在于阅读理解，在于能力的培养，除指定的范围和文章中反复出现的常用词汇以及学员应掌握的基本词汇外，学员不必熟记文章的每一具体细节和所有生词，考试的题型参照Reader‘s Choice的练习。
