　　Text A Sacrificed to Science？

　　课文简介：本文主要论述了以下三点：

　　1.对待用动物来做医学实验的不同观点。有些人认为动物研究是不必要的，不相关的，甚至是起误导作用。另一种观点认为，如果把还没有在动物身上彻底实验过的药物用在人身上，那是完全不负责任和不道德的。用动物来做实验对现代医疗科学的发展起着至关重要的作用。

　　2.很多科学家一直在致力于减少（Reduction）、改进（Refinement）和代替（Replacement）对动物的实验。

　　3.随着研究技术日益先进，可能会减少用动物做实验的数量，但只要医疗研究还要继续，只要用于消费者身上的产品还需准确实验，彻底停止使用动物还很遥远。
